Welcome to LUMP!

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the LUMP mobile application, and the official website located at linkupmeetpeople.com, as well as the related services provided by Oxholm Invest AS. By accessing our app or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 

 

1. Parties

These Terms apply between:

Hereinafter referred to as “LUMP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”.

And:

You, the individual using the LUMP app — hereinafter referred to as “you” or “the user”.

 

2. About the Service

LUMP is a social app for sharing and posting activities that anyone can join. You must create a user account to gain access. The “Delete Me” function is available in the app and allows you to delete your account and all associated data at any time.

 

3. User Conduct and Content

By using LUMP, you agree to: 

  • Use the service in a lawful manner and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. 
  • Not post offensive, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or illegal content. 
  • Not attempt to bypass technical protections or interfere with the functionality of the app. 
  • User-generated content such as your bio and profile picture is optional but must comply with good conduct and legal standards. 
  • Explicit content shared outside of activity listings (e.g., in profiles or chats) is prohibited. 

Activity-related rules: 

  • You may retract a request to join an activity at any time before it is accepted. 
  • You may leave an activity if the host changes key details of the event. 
  • Activity hosts may use the “repeat activity” function to create recurring activities, provided that each listing complies with these Terms. 

Uncensored specific rules: 

  • No explicit sexual content, pornography, or illegal activity is allowed. 
  • Uncensored activities are limited to event listings. Sharing explicit sexual images, videos, or similar content through LUMP is strictly prohibited. 
  • All Uncensored activities remain subject to moderation and these Terms. 
  • Participation is voluntary, and users are solely responsible for their conduct and interactions. 
  • LUMP does not promote or condone any type of prostitution. Activities under the “Uncensored” category are not allowed to cost money. 

Moderation rights: 

LUMP reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove content and activities that violate these Terms, including those posted under subscriptions. 

 

4. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use LUMP.

 

5. Subscriptions and Pricing

5.1 Trial Period

All users receive a 14-day free trial. If you use a valid referral code, you may receive one (1) month free.

5.2 Subscription Types

Basic 

The basic subscription covers all the main functionalities and features of the LUMP app. This gives you access to all activity categories except for “Uncensored”. 

Uncensored 

LUMP offers a separate subscription called “Uncensored”, which provides access to adult-themed activities such as blind dating, swinger events or other related adult activities. Uncensored includes everything Basic does. 

5.3 Subscription Periods

  • Basic monthly subscription – 1 month 
  • Basic annual subscription – 12 months 
  • Uncensored monthly subscription – 1 month 
  • Uncensored annual subscription – 12 months 

Prices are displayed in the app and App Store in your local currency, including applicable VAT or taxes. Prices may vary by country and are determined by the payment platform.

5.4 Payment and Renewal

Payments are handled differently based on your device platform: 

  • On Android, payment is processed via Vipps or MobilePay, depending on your country, and cancellations must be made through the same platform. 
  • On iOS, payment is processed via Apple In-App Purchases (IAP). Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. 

By starting a subscription, you agree that it will automatically renew at the end of each period unless you cancel. Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless you cancel before the next renewal date. Cancellation must be done through the same platform (Vipps or Apple App Store) and takes effect from the next billing period. You will retain full access to the app for the remainder of the current paid subscription period.

5.5 Upgrading and Downgrading subscriptions

LUMP does not offer any refunds, and this also applies when upgrading or downgrading subscriptions. Below you can find some examples along with clear explanations of how it is handled. 

Upgrading from Monthly to Annually subscription period 

You get 12 months + the remainder of your Basic Monthly period. 

Downgrading from Annually to Monthly subscription period 

You are not refunded for the remaining annual period. The remaining time in current subscription is kept, and Monthly will not apply before the annual subscription period is over. 

Upgrading from Basic to Uncensored 

You pay and get access to Uncensored right away. Remaining time in basic is not added to uncensored and no refund applies. 

Downgrading from Uncensored to Basic 

You pay and get access to Basic right away. Remaining time in Uncensored is not added to Basic and no refund applies. You keep access to Uncensored until the period is over. 

 

6. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

6.1 Waiver of Right of Withdrawal

By starting the subscription immediately, you consent to the delivery beginning at once and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is waived, in accordance with Section 22, letter n of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.

6.2 Refunds

We do not offer refunds if you cancel your subscription after the billing period has started. You will retain access for the remainder of the paid period.

 

7. Delivery and Availability

LUMP is a digital service that is activated immediately after successful payment.

We strive for high availability, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be accessible. Maintenance and technical issues may occasionally occur.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for:

  • Unauthorized use of your account.
  • Interruptions, technical errors, or network issues.
  • Damages resulting from misuse or violation of these Terms.
  • Activities organized by other users, including cancellations or changes. 
  • LUMP does not verify, endorse, or guarantee any activities or events posted by users. 

 

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. These Terms may change without individual notification. Due to limitations in the app, such as not collecting users’ email addresses, we are unable to notify you directly.

We recommend that you check the Terms regularly. Your continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

10. Disputes and Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Norway to the extent applicable. However, users are responsible for complying with all applicable local, national, and international laws in their own jurisdiction.

We will attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved, you may bring the case to the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) or your local consumer court.

 

11. Business Accounts

Business accounts are reserved exclusively for organizers who host real-world activities, such as clubs, organizations, or local businesses. We do not allow advertising, promotion, or commercial-only accounts.

LUMP is focused on real participation, genuine community engagement, and connecting people through activities, not on marketing or selling products.

12. Termination by LUMP 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you: 

  • Violate these Terms, 
  • Post illegal or prohibited content, 
  • Misuse the service, or 
  • Engage in fraudulent or harmful activities. 

In such cases, we may remove your access to LUMP without prior notice. In the case of account suspension or termination no refunds apply.
